Police investigating after shots fired into business on Pittsburgh’s South Side

Pittsburgh law enforcement are investigating following photographs have been fired into a business enterprise on Pittsburgh’s South Aspect on Sunday afternoon.

Police responded following getting a ShotSpotter notification for three spherical fired in the 2100 block of Wharton Road just just before 3 p.m.

Units arrived on scene to come across all shooters associated had fled from the spot.

Original reviews said a woman endured a gunshot wound, but law enforcement explained no victims have been claimed at area hospitals.

Officers cleared a single small business whose home windows had been shot out.

Police mentioned that witnesses inside the shop indicated that a shootout in between shoppers occurred. According to witnesses, two males entered the store and began capturing at two other males who were being now within that fired back again.

Witnesses informed law enforcement the two initial shooters still left the retailer in a silver sedan, and the two males within still left from the again exit and went down Carson Road.

The crime scene device is processing all proof, such as surveillance footage.

This incident remains beneath investigation.
